There has not been a viable, consistent option for marketing property for lease in Klamath County...until now.

It can be a daunting task for owners out of the area to find tenants for their properties. Many owners have relied on time-costly methods, such as hanging around and talking to people until a potential tenant wanders into their sphere of influence. The real estate business frustrated many because the multiple listing service was designed to market properties for sale and added lease marketing as an afterthought. As such, the presentation was--and still is--lacking.

On the other side of the equation, many potential tenants have been frustrated by the feeling that properties were being hidden from them. Real estate agents don't make very much money leasing property, so working with leases is not their highest priority. The only way to gain access to the sparse information housed on the multiple listing service was to work with an agent, but agents were unfamiliar with the lease market and the system was so dysfunctional, hardly any of them could figure out how to search it. It was also rare to find any type of subject photo, so the search process called for many attempts through different agents familiar with one property or another. This frustrated many buyers right out of the marketplace.

For the good of the economy, the marketing of leases had to change. This site began as a way for one real estate professional to help new investors effectively represent their properties for lease. Liability for misrepresentation is high. Many property owners make huge mistakes and omissions when marketing their property themselves. It is for this reason that we require owners to have an active listing with a real estate agent in order to offset their liability and ours. By virtue of their profession and training, actively licensed real estate agents are held legally accountable for a multitude of issues involving representation and contractual relationships. So any owner that is serious about leasing should find a professional they feel comfortable working with..
