Among the most spectacular jewels of Klamath County is Kimball State Park.

Here, natural springs bubble from the hillside and valley, forming the headwaters for the Wood River, which picks up a good current from the plethora of small springs churning pebbles like little popcorn machines.

The minerals in the water reflect a turquoise color reminiscent of the Carribean. The fall colors, especially the vibrant yellow of the quaking aspens, create an unparalleled visual feast.
